In Loving Memory of Roz Schulte 1984-2009
The Warrior Lacrosse Club is honored to present an on going seasonal scholarship to underprivileged players that register in the Fox Warrior Lacrosse Program. This scholarship will be presented across our program in Roz's memory. We want to be certain that Fox Lacrosse represents all that Roz displayed: Commitment Honor Integrity with our deepest and most sincere sympathy Fox Warrior Executive Committee
In 2009 we lost a dear friend of Lacrosse in Afghanistan and in memorial of Roz Schulte’s the Warrior Lacrosse Club is honored to present an on going seasonal scholarship to underprivileged players. This Scholarship may be divided between multiple players. Players and their parents awarded the scholarship will be notified by the Fox Warrior Lacrosse Club’s executive committee. In order to be considered for this scholarship players must: 1. Write a letter/essay to the executive committee explaining the role that lacrosse plays in their life and what lacrosse means to them. This essay must also contain these core values: Commitment, Honor and Integrity. All of these are principles that Roz displayed through her life. 2. Display a good effort in participating in one of the Club’s fundraisers. 3. Submit Letter/Essay to the executive committee by the first part of the second week of February for the season being applied for. Feb 9, 2010 would be the last date to apply for this scholarship. As a recipient(s) of the award the following is expected in order to maintain the scholarship. 1. Eligibility for the season, e.g. grades and conduct. 2. Player must be of assistance to the club upon request and within reason. Assistance may include but are not limited to, field help, game day set up, time/score keeping, and concession sales.
